Privacy Policy

This page explains what Your Drone Show collects when you read the blog, send us a message, or ask about a display, and what you can do about it. It covers the whole site, not just the contact form.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you choose to send. If you write about a specific show, that message may include site details, fleet size or event dates, and we treat it the same way as any other enquiry.

Separately, our hosting and analytics tools record technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring link and timestamps. This is standard server and event logging, and it is what tells us which posts people actually read.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics. Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which articles get opened, without building a profile of you as an individual. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the blog will still work, though some preferences may reset.

Why we process it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, quote a display, and keep a record of the conversation. Technical and analytics data is used to keep the site running, fix broken pages and understand which topics are worth writing about next. We do not sell your data, and we do not use contact details for unrelated marketing.

Sharing and processors

We rely on third-party providers to run the site: a hosting provider, an analytics service, and an email or form provider that delivers your message to our inbox. These processors only handle data on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Where a provider stores data outside your country, we take reasonable steps to keep the transfer lawful.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up work, then archived or deleted. Analytics records are retained in aggregated form. You can ask us to remove your message earlier, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, or ask for a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent for analytics or marketing at any time. If you are in the EU or UK, GDPR gives you these rights directly; if you are in California, CCPA gives you comparable rights, including the right to know what is collected and to opt out of any sale of personal information, which we do not do. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

Accuracy and honesty

We do not make misleading claims about our services, our results or our affiliations. We do not use fake urgency, fake endorsements or invented client names. Any figures or timelines we publish come from work we have actually done, and where something is an estimate we say so.

Privacy contact

For any privacy request, or if you think we have handled your data incorrectly, reach out and we will respond.

Cookie settings

We use cookies to keep the site reliable, remember basic choices, and understand which pages are useful. You can accept, reject, or review the settings before continuing.
