Send a show brief

Whether you are a venue looking for a pyro-free finale, a festival programmer weighing a drone slot against a fireworks budget, or another operator who needs a second crew for a large formation, this is the form to use. Give us the site, the date window and the fleet size you have in mind, and we will come back with what is realistic.

Briefs that include a site plan, a rough aircraft count and any CAA Part 101 context get a faster, more useful answer. If you are still at the idea stage, say so and we will point you at the pre-flight checklist series instead.

We read every brief and usually reply within two working days. Show dates inside four weeks get flagged for a call.

Location

Where the ground station sits between shows

Our base is in Gordonberg, a quiet stretch of the Eastern Cape where we can lay out a full fleet on the apron and run rehearsal sequences without asking a neighbour to move a car. If you are shipping equipment ahead of a show, send it here and confirm the delivery window first — the yard is not staffed around the clock.

Getting here

Gordonberg is reached off the main regional route, roughly a two-hour drive from the nearest commercial airport. If you are arriving with a flight case, a van is easier than a sedan — the last stretch of road is gravel and turns soft after rain.

  • 01 By road: follow the R-route signs into Gordonberg, then turn onto Kelebogile Walk. Parking is on the street side.
  • 02 By air: fly into the regional airport, then arrange a transfer in advance — there is no scheduled shuttle to the yard.
  • 03 Deliveries: book a slot by phone or email before dispatch. Unannounced freight is left at the gate.

For show-day questions rather than shipping, use the contact details on this page — the same number reaches the crew that runs the ground station.

Reaching the crew behind the fleet

Whether you are booking a display, filing paperwork alongside us, or stuck on a Skybrush export at 01:00, this is where the conversation starts. We answer everything ourselves, usually between rehearsal blocks.

Best for show-day questions and site access. If we are mid-flight, leave a message and we call back after teardown.

Send briefs, venue plans, CAA queries or firmware logs here. Attachments up to a few megabytes are fine.

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:00
  • Saturday: 10:00 to 14:00, office only
  • Show nights: on site from the afternoon until teardown

Rehearsals and coastal gigs shift these hours without much notice. Email is the safer bet on those days.

What to include when you write

Venue and date, expected fleet size, whether pyro is off the table, and any airspace restrictions you already know about. For technical threads, tell us the Skybrush version and the aircraft model. That usually saves a full round of back-and-forth.

We reply to most messages within one working day. Complex compliance questions can take two, especially if a CAA submission is already in progress.
